      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. Server Problems Connection Timeout

    Hey, I've been playing around with Minecraft Server for the past couple days, and thanks to other posts in different forums I can finally get the Server to start, locally it runs. server.properties file set to "address=localhost" and "port=25565" Without the localhost I get a port error (port not open or something like that), same happens when I remove port=25565 (those were suggestions i've read on different forums. So now I'm running the minecraft-server.jar file, and localy I can start the game, and join from my minecraft.... but for some odd reason, my friends can't connect (time out error) I've gone through my router and set port forwarding in my hardware admin config, (there is a "portforwarding.com" address that gives help on every router available which confirmed that I had done it correctly. I set the forwarding address to 25565, and my internal IP address. I've started Minecraft, running the game, but others can't connect. I've also tried one of those online port checkers, and none get a response from the port. And I cant really figure out where the problem is. I have Zonealarm Firewall on Windows 8. As I can't find anywhere I can manually configure a DMZ, or an "open port", I simply tried shutting ZoneAlarm down completely, and it didn't make a difference. Anybody have a clue what I'm missing?
